Jenifer Rose Weber earned a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Voice) from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Master of Music in Performance (Voice) University of Missouri-Kansas City. Ms. Weber has performed across the country and around the world, most notably as Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) in Salzburg, Austria; Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) and Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro) at Opera in the Ozarks; Tolomeo (Giulio Cesare), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), and Dorabella (Cosi fan Tutte) in Kansas City; and in various orchestra and chamber concerts in Graz, Austria and Orvieto, Italy. Locally, she has sung with Undercroft Opera as Frugola (Il Tabarro), La Zelatrice (Suor Angelica), Mrs. Ott (Susannah), and Third Lady (The Magic Flute); with Microscopic Opera as Mrs. Borden-cover (Lizbeth) and Woman (Riders to the Sea); and with Resonance Works as a Witch (Macbeth), in Natural Frequency, and in Britten’s Ceremony of Carols.
Ms. Weber currently teaches Kindermusik with Kathy’s Music at the Squirrel Hill JCC and has been a member of the Pittsburgh Opera Chorus since 2011 performing in several main stage shows a year including Aida, Otello, Tosca, La Boheme and Carmen.
