In Kindermusik we use pretend play as a bridge from a child’s real life experiences to creative thinking strategies that develop language, sensory, motor, and cognitive skills. While playing, your child uses concepts already acquired; however, the play reinforces those concepts and increases your child’s competence. You may notice that as your child becomes more and more comfortable with a certain type of play, the play becomes varied and boundaries are expanded.
