Kindermusik Understands How Children Learn

How Children Learn

Children learn by doing.  Early childhood specialists and educators suggest that young children benefit tremendously from daily, informal musical and physical activities with nursery rhymes, lullabies, patty-cake games, and singing in the home.

Well-known research by Frances Rauscher, Ph.D., shows that young children who participate in regular musical activities develop a measurable improvement in the type of intelligence needed for high-level math, science, and spatial reasoning.

We’re proud to provide young children in our Pittsburgh community with joyful experiences in music and movement through Kindermusik, the world’s premier music and movement program for children newborn to 7 years.

We’re even happier to help make great parenting just a little bit easier by offering support and resources in and out of class to make the daily routines smoother, the fleeting childhood years more memorable, and the musical learning more meaningful.
